Kookiejar of Sweden and founder Kim Silander attended in a Vertiport panel discussion at the Airspace World 2023 in Geneva on the 9th of March
Airspace World is the largest and most influential airspace and near-space management event in the world, gathering Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), suppliers, ATM professionals, innovators and new technology owners over three days for a packed agenda of learning, connecting, collaborating, sharing, and business.
During the 1 hour panel discussion topics such as Vertiport standards, Collaborative Decision Making (U-CDM), Weather Challenges, precision landings and accessibility needs where discussed amongst the panel members.
What is clear is that common standards is vital to ensure not only safe operations but also efficient and predictable operations in order to pave the way for Advanced Air Mobility. Kookiejar of Sweden is active in both EUROCONTROL and EUROCAE initiatives to harmonize and build best practices for Vertiport Operations.
